Rescue 64
Rescue 64 was purchased in 2013 at a cost of $350,000.00. Rescue 64 has approximately $40,000.00 worth of rescue tools, including the Jaws of Life. Rescue 64 is one of the few trucks actually classified as a heavy rescue truck in the county. Rescue 64 is a 6-man cab, carries six SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) and has a SCBA refill station with four 4500 PSI air storage bottles. Rescue 64 also has a 10 KW generator with a 1,500 watt 240 volt 20 foot telescoping light tower. Rescue 64 has a full set of extrication tools and two full sets of stabilization equipment. All members are trained on vehicle extrication.
